Martin Wren is the Chief Executive Officer of NOVA Employment, a Sydney-based Disability Employment Service (DES) that has found award-wage jobs for people with disability since 1990. During that time, NOVA has supported more than 15,000 people to gain meaningful work that suits their skills and interests. Currently NOVA has 22 outlets across Sydney and the Southern Highlands of NSW.
To showcase the ability of people with disability, in 2008 Martin created the Focus On Ability Short Film Festival (www.focusonability.com.au). Last year, the competition received over 200 entries from around the world and had a total prize pool worth more than $150,000.
Martin regularly receives awards for innovation and commitment and speaks at national and international events in the field of disability employment.
